|Brookhaven Labradors are not a business, we are a small Preservation Breeder of English Labrador Retrievers in Virginia for show,
obedience, agility, hunting and companionship. Situated in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area. We breed for quality over quantity with
focus on Labradors for conformation (showing), obedience, field work and companionship.
The Air Force took us many places but retirement has now afforded us the opportunity to follow our dreams. In 1999 we purchased our
first foundation bitch, Brooklands Strawberry Blonde. We bred our first litter in 2004, we have conformation Champions, Canine Good
Citizens, Junior Hunters, Rally & Obedience title holders, Therapy dogs and Dock Diving title holders.
Our focus is to breed the MULTIPURPOSE Labrador, whether it be future champion, hunting companion,
performance competitor or a loving companion. All puppies are raised in the house as they are expected to be
humans." BrookHaven offers English Bloodlines, broad and stocky individuals, bred for excellent temperament. All
breeding stock is OFA Hip & Elbow Clear, OFA Heart Clear by Color Doppler, CERF eye exam normal annually.
Additionally Brookhaven Labradors are tested for a myriad of genetic diseases too numerous to list here. We
believe that healthy pups come from healthy parents, grandparents and great-great grandparents!
We are members of the Labrador Retriever Club Inc. (AKC Labrador Retriever Parent Club) and
the Raleigh-Durham Labrador Retriever Club.
